So aside from how much you want to spend, why are you considering this one?

If you don't explain some of that, all you're going to get is a bunch of other guys' preferences and they'll have reasons that are very different from yours. Come to think of it, that's about all you're going to get anyway. And then alfeng will pipe up with advice on how to re-purpose your old mountain bike or hybrid to a road bike. You do have an old mountain bike or hybrid, don't you?

I think a bike purchase decision should be between the rider, the dealer, and his or her spouse or household pet.

There are no hidden reasons here aka mountain bike/road upgrade whatever.

If someone has some positive experience with the ROUBIAX id like to hear from you.

If youre here to troll ill just by the bike anyway, whatever.

Sorry. I know lots of riders who love their Roubaixs. None of them have disc brakes yet, though. The Roubaix isn't exactly my cuppa tea, but those who love it have their reasons.

Funding is always a key issue. Check out some of the lesser known names that are producing carbon bikes, I've always heard they're made in the same plants overseas. I've had great success over the years with Fuji, light responsive bikes at a great price.
