    Hello all!

    I have to buy new tyres for my bike but I've no idea what ones will fit!
    Can anyone give me a guide on how to tell which tyres are suitable?
    I really like the idea of run flat tyres as I'm fed up getting bleedin puctures (5 last week!), is it possible to fit them onto my wheels?
    In reality I probably just need more durable tyres as my current ones are looking rather bald.

    My bike is the claud Butler Urban 400 2005 model.
    full spec.

    700c x 40 is the size tire your bike was sold with.

    Michelin, as do most of the major tire manufacturers, offer several choices of road/smooth and road & trail models in your size.

    If you are constantly cutting tires with glass/lsteel scrap on city streets you might try heavier tubes such as these: cgi.ebay.comPyramid Thorn Resistant 700 x 40 45 SV 10 Tubes W0QQitemZ130164029431QQcmdZViewItem

    (Note: i have no clue 'who' is auctioning off these tubes, just used for example.)

    Your local bicycle shop can advise you what tires best match the style of riding you are doing.

    I'll take a look at the heavier tubes, they seem to be what the doctor ordered.
    Yeah, the roads are bloody awful where I'm living at the moment and getting a flat on the way to work doesn't help matters!
