Campag Front der

Hi all,

2 questions. Campag Chorus 05 front der, is there any difference between
getting a braze on with a clamp on adapter versus a clamp on front der?
Reason I ask is that I have purchased a Campag Chorus mini group set and
asked for a clamp on front der and they sent me a braze on with an adapter
instead.

Secondly, do cf bidon cages not mark bidons like aluminium and steel ones
do?

1. If the adapter is the correct size for your frame, no difference.

There is no difference in functionality. They may have sent you the
clamp-on braze-on combination because your down-tube is a different size
from what Campy supplies.

Get just a little piece of road grime on the bottle, or perhaps a bit of
the bottle's graphics sticks to the contact point of the cage, and it
will mark up the bottle. If you have a bottle with graphics of which
you are particularly fond, either don't use it or put up with scratches
and marks.

I say-nope, altho the Campagnolo clampon is 'prettier'

AND CF cages do not mark up bottles but remember how much a waterbottle weighs
and the possibility of breaking one of these 30 gr, many $ cages.
