Started using a 2005 campy record 270mm 27,2mm seatpost last year. Found that it creaks constantly whether you are out of the saddle or sitting in. Took me months of meticulously greasing other parts of the bike to realise it was the cradle. Changed to a centaur silver post a month ago and problem disappeared until a few days ago when the same creaking began. I am convinced it is the setpost cradle: not the wheels nor the frame nor the BB or anything else. Have chopped and changed almost all the or parts on the bike. Who else has a creaking campy seatpost. I think this problem is endemic within all campy seatpost cradles.......might switch to an easton 90 or a carbon ritchey in the new year...
