I need to upgrade my shifters pretty soon .I was looking at the campagnolo chorus 9 speed or the dura ace 9- speed. I just wanted to know would the campy work good, no great on my shimano drivetrain? I use to ride campy and loved it, dont know why I went to shimano ultegra.

Campy and shimano 9 speed cog spacing is not the same. At a minimum you also need a campy RD too, and that often works ok with an otherwise shimano 9 speed drivetrain.. Another option is campy 10 speed shifters, shimano rear derailer with an alternate cable mount at the rear derailer..

I use Campag. RECORD shifters (with Campag. RECORD 9 sp. rear/front der.) with a Shimano 9 sp. rear cassette and have no problems at all, I use an Sram 9 sp. chain.
