Campy brakes and Eurus wheels

My Record brakes/Eurus wheels combo makes a nasty grinding sound when braking. I found metal chunks
in the brake pads so I sanded the pads and wheels to get new surfaces. It still grinds. Now I'm
replacing the pads altogether in hopes of curing the problem. Two questions:

1. Any ideas on curing the grind?

2. Is there a trick to removing post 2K campy brake pads?
