Campy chainring question

My center Veloce chainring (42T) is worn and needs to be replaced. Can it be replaced with a higher
quality (Centaur or Record chainring) without problem? Is it worth upgrading like that?

yes...and the higher end rings are of a higher quality and lifespan.
