Campy Chorus crankset bolt problem

I have had Chorus (10s) on my new bike (have done about 1600km). In that time the bolt that holds the crankarm to the chainring has worked itself loose and fallen out twice. Is this common? What can be done to fix it (aside from tightening the bolt every time I think of it)? Is it symtomatic of a deeper malaise?

Never needed loctite on mine. Proper tightening always worked.

Same here - I put a Chorus group on my current road bike back in 2002. Had to tighten the big bolt on the crank arms a couple of times, but after that, it has been trouble free for almost three years. You do have to go back a couple of times and tighten it down later.

No need for any loctite. All well after the first tuneup.
