Is Campagnolo planning on discontinueing Record 10 speed? Lately all I've been able to find is 11 speed shifters for Record. Thanks.

Already done altho many suppliers of Campagnolo still have 2008 and earlier components. I just ordered a Chorus 10s gruppo. I can get 10s Record ERGO, btw-I'm at home so don't know the price. In the $400 range I suspect.

The OLDER style 10-speed shifters will be available via sites like eBay for years to come ...
And, you will be able to buy 2009-style, 10-speed Centaur shifter for the foreseeable future.
FWIW. Although they have not been announced, I suspect that Campagnolo will eventually relent & offer other 10-speed shifters in the Veloce-and-below groups AFTER the 11-speed is firmly established in the minds (and, on the bikes) of those who prefer Campagnolo over Shimano & SRAM ... OR, if the lack of demand for 11-speeds shifters forces Campagnolo to offer the Chorus and/or Record groups with 10-speed shifters.

I question what is actually gained with going to the 11-speed shifters. If the gear range was increased I could understand it, but it's not. The rear der. dictates that. It bugs me that Campy is attempting to force their customers over to the 11-speed setup. Anyway, thanks for the insight. -

More interior cogs for the 11-25 and an addition of a 12-27. No force, use Centaur. The advantage of 2009 Campagnolo is the improved ergonomics of the levers plus more durable, simpler shifter innards, NOT 11s.
