I just bought a Record Chainset, NIB. The rings are marked AS. I don't know what it means or if there's a special BB to use.

Some say use the traditional cup and spindle ones--68SS (English) and others say to use the Record 102 mm cartridge.

Each arm has a 94 in a box.

Any insight? Please?

If it's current vintage, use a 102 cartridge and make sure you get the right BB threading for your FRAME, if that is what the reference to 68ss(english) is.

I was advised the 94 in a box indicates a date code of some sort. They said it was mid to late 90's.
