Campy triple bb question

I am trying to buy a Phil Wood bb for a used Racing Triple crankset I
purchased. I'm guessing that it is a 2000 or later crank. It is an
english BB and has a 31.9 seat tube so I need a 115 bb but I don't
know if I need a symmetric or asymmetric bb. I think I need a
symmetric bb as all Campy triples after a certain date are symmetric.
My dealer thinks I need an asymmetric bb. Can anyone confirm what I
need?

Thanks!!!

Campagnolo's Racing Triple in the 90s used the symmetric Athena
(111/113). 2000 RT use ACH symmetric (111/115) BB.

It's the later Chorus Triple and Record Triple which mated to the
asymmetric 113 BB format.

Symmetric.

But you won't necessarily need a 115 (even though Campag say you will). Try
a 111 first for the sake of a better chainline and q factor. You only need
a 115 if it's not possible for the front derailleur to shift to the inner
position without the seat tube obstructing it. You could even file a bit
off the back of the deraileur to allow more travel.

I use a triple Centaur crankset with the 111mm ACH bottom bracket on a
bike with a 31.8mm seattube. Works perfectly well. I would not even
try the 115mm length on a bike with a 35mm seattube.

Chorus and Record Triple is asymmetric 111mm - for use with all seat tubes.
No 113 or 115.
