Can this Campy RD be fixed?

  1. I have a Campy Mirage 9sp rear der from 1999. The spring that moves
    the mech outward broke. I looked at the spare parts diagram on the
    Campy website, but that spring does not seem to be there.

    The spring is on one of the 4 mech pivots, but I don't see it in the
    diagram. Is this rd unfixable?

    No, a sealed unit BUT use a modern, like 2007 RD, any Campag one, and
    it will work just fine. No need to fret about the pre-post 2001 stuff
    because it'snobigdeal. We use modern Campag Rders as replacement Rders
    on all Campag index systems from early 90s thru today.
