Can you recommend a £1500.00 bike for Female 150 lbs, 161 cm and average road recreational use

I don't know even what i am looking for so appologies in advance

I've been using a full suspension bike that i picked up cheaply, which i love and is a good ride but i am not sure how long i can carry off a bike that looks so built for 15 -30 year olds

I know it shouldn't matter but i'm using a downhill bike for road use and i am just now going to look up the differences!

Please point me in the direction of some bikes?

May I ask an impertinent question?

What is preventing you from walking into a bicycle shop and asking the people there to show you the range of bicycles for adults? These people would be happy for your business and would love to help you make a wise decision.

If you talk to us, someone is going to recommend road sport bikes, another will recommend mountain bikes, another will recommend road hybrids or cruisers, and one will say you should build your own bike from a mountain bike frame and road bike parts. Go shopping, let them introduce themselves, take some test rides, and take your time.
