I purchased a set of very lightly used Cane Creek 58 Aros tubulars from one of my riding club members. i know he purchased them last December and i ride with him, so i knew the wheels were in excellent shape. He has Shimano and i have campy. i purchased the campy body from Cane Creek. so, today i tried to remove the shimano hub body and i could not get it loose. i found instructions on the net on how to remove it and followed them to the T. the axle will not come lose. i am turning it clockwise which is what the instructions indicate. i took it to my LBS and they could not get it loose either.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? can anyone provide a way to get this axle loose?

I'm confused, is it the axle or the hub body that won't come loose?
