Cannondale Jekyll

I have a 2001 C'dale jekyll 700 ltd . It has hayes hyrdro disc and Lefty with ELO. Been a good bike
I have been up on it for a couple of years now. I changed the brakes out. I did not care the Magura
Julie's, But the hayes have worked very well. also were pretty cheap. I also changed the front ring
with race face rings instead of the cannondale coda's they seemed a bit week. The cable routing is a
bit odd on the bike and does need attention annually. If you have any other question let me know.

Anyway, the bike looks like exactly what I want, even moreso that the Specialized my heart was set
on. My only hangup at this point is that on the small frame, there are no water bottle mounts at
all due to clearance problems. Med through XL has two. An inconvenience, because I like to carry
some spare water other than my camelback. Also, where the hell does my pump go? I'm sure I can

A nice bike but, IMHO, one can get a significantly better bike by buying something that's built from
standard parts.

The Lefty appealed to the exhibitionist in me, but the bike overall wasn't big enough so I sold it
with very few miles on it.

I have a jekyll 3000... with the Max tpc+ shock it is one great bike .. smooth, lots of travel ( 5"
front and back). Rugged,reliable, and can take lots of abuse,

I have two other bikes... both with leftys .. they just are very stiff and very smooth.
