Looking for help here. I have an old Cannondale Delta V, '92 or '93, I can't remember. My rear shock is blown and the local Cannondale dealer says that replacement parts are not available anymore. I'm looking for a used replacement or a suitable, compatible alternative. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe a good shop can mate a new/contemporary (but, expensive by comparison) rear shock ...

The "new" shock will have much better rebound characteristics which will result in less bobbing.

If the bushing size(s) is/(are) different, a shim is undoubtedly available OR can be fabricated.
