Cannondales in the TDF

what teams if any use cannondales in the tdf? i dont think ive seen one yet.
No team in the TdF is using Cannondale this year. The last time a Cannondale was used in the TdF was Lampre-Caffita in 2005. Prior to that, Saeco used Cannondale. This year, Lampre-Fondital is using Wilier Triestina frames.

Yup, confirmed, no 2006 teams in the TdF.If I am not mistaken the only pro team to be riding Cannondales this year is Barloworld, which is not a Pro Tour team.

is there a reason for this?

Well from what I remember Lampre went with Wilier... beyond that, I have no idea... to save money, perhaps? :p

Teams are sponsored with bikes, advertising, and "BIG MONEY"! Simply, Wilier was willing to spend more money than Cannondale. From the local US bike shops is appears to be paying off. I've noticed quite a few Wilier's in the LBS's iand on the road in Denver.
