i thinking of a yahuma 4 bike hitch 290.00 here. what would you guys recommend. thyle too expensive.

Hitch mount/Receiver tube type or Bumper/Trunk mount?

Menard's puts a 4-bike rack on sale for $29.95 every now and again: http://www.menards.com/main/tools-hardware/automotive/trailers-towing/4-bike-hitch-rack/p-1691509-c-9116.htm

It's not the most versatile hitch type, but plenty sturdy and cheap enough for occasional use. If you're hauling bikes a lot, for long distances over crappy roads, want to best protect your bike's finish, hauling very expensive bikes...spend the big money and buy a high quality rack.

Consider a wheel-support or platform type, maybe.

$24.95 right now at the Menard's in Camby, IN. It's not available online, though.

I have a somewhat inexpensive 3-bike receiver-type (was ~$100, maybe?), and I protect the bike from scratches with some judicious use of painter's tape.

thanks guys ended up at dicks got the Yakima double down ace for 189.99
