I'm in the market for a new bike and am finding that within by budget (under $AU3000 many of the bikes have upto a full carbon frame.
Can anyone give me the pro's and con's of carbon. If I go carbon what are the risks? Will the carbon have a short life?
I ride about 10,000 kms per annum and weigh about 92 kilos (not sure if this is relevant).

I have ridden Look and Fondriest carbon frames with no problems. The Fondriest being the best bike I have ever ridden. I like carbon but there are those that will disagree. Aside from the danger of crash damage I would not worry in the least about going with a good carbon frame.

I wouldn't have a clue how the Fuji (or any other model) rates
