Carbon Rims and Brakes

Sorry if this has been asked, I have a question about Carbon Rims. Can Carbon Rims be interchanged with normal Mavic Open Pro Rims? In other words, do Carbon Rims require (or recommend) the use of special brake pads? Thanks for the help and patience.

Yes, you have to use carbon specific brake pads. Regular brake pads can & will scratch the carbon rims and will not provide sufficient braking power.
