  1. Caribbean Rub

    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp dried minced onion
    1/4 tsp salt
1/2 to 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp ground allspice
    1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed

In a small bowl, stir together the spices. Rub spice mixture evenly over
pork, coating the entire surface. Cook pork as desired, or cover and
refrigerate for 15 minutes to several hours to boost flavors.

    Serving Suggestions
A Caribbean rub that brings the slightly sweet and spicy flavors of the
Islands simply. Try with pork chops on the grill or a
    roasted tenderloin.
