I bought a carrera hellfire today it has some kinds of adjustable shocks don't know which ones.They are named sr suntour.On the top of each shock it has a knob that you can turn one way is + and one is minus-.I have included pictures.When turned +they yellow thing goes up to top and vice versa.
My question is which way to dampen shock so they are softer and how many clicks thanks.
And also what are these two things at back of seat post for?Is it a bottle holder??

To the best of my knowledge, the SR Suntour front fork does NOT have any dampening ... it is essentially two pogo sticks which attach the front wheel to the frame.
You will need to buy a different front fork if you want dampening ...
BTW. Unless you (or, the rider) weighs less than 80 lbs, you probably don't want the springs set at their softest setting.
