While assembling my recently purchased EL-400, a small piece fell out of the top of the unit. It appears to be part of the battery contact mechanism. Nothing looks broken.. just seems to have gotten knocked loose.
So, on to the odd request. Would an el-400 owner be willing to take a picture of the underide of the top of their unit? I'd just like a good view of how the contacts are arranged. To this point, cateye support hasn't gotten back to me.
