Anyone have any real world experience with the performance of wheels built with Mavic Open Pro CD (not ceramic) rims in comparison to the standard braking surface versions?

Anyone have any real world experience with the performance of wheels built with Mavic Open Pro CD (not ceramic) rims in comparison to the standard braking surface versions?

Braking performance on CD rims starts off worse and stays inferior until the CD anodizing is fully worn off.
