C'Dale Headshok 2 RockShok conversion?

Has anyone done this?

I want to try out a long travel fork and am curious what the best combination of components would
be. Mainly what type of headset./reducer setup. I heard of a CLC reducer that requires no
headset...Anyone tried that?

I went from Headshok to a Marzocchi and it works fine. I used Cane Creeks Shorty Xc reducer headset.

if your headset is in good shape the CLC soultion seems the way to go, though i never tried it. I
learned about it too late.
