I was going to buy a Cervelo SuperProdigy but the price here in France is outrageous, €2800 (about $3200 US) suggested list! I found one on the BikeFarmer on sale for $1800 :D but not my size . But they have a 58cm Cervelo Soloist for $2100. However I am pretty sure I want to go with steel. I have been riding my Marinoni Special (SL/SP) since 1986 and have always loved the frame even though it has **** components. Its nearly 20 and still looks great. I have had the chance to compare it to many other bikes over the years including Colnago, Pinarello and Cannondale. So I had a look around for a Marinoni Piuma. Its not an easy bike to find online! The reason I was considering this one is its made with Columbus Thermacrom steel (same as SuperProdigy) and better components than the Cervelo for $2100. So has anyone compared the bikes from the two companies and can they give me any advice? Thanks for your input.
