Does anyone know of a chain guard that will fit an internal Alfine 11 hub? I have a 45T chainring and a 23T rear sprocket.

We're going on an epic 12,000 mile expedition and have heard a suggestion that the right chain guard may reduce the need for regular chain cleaning.

I've been looking at the Hebie chain guards which look perfect but I don't think the size would fit the bike. I've emailed them directly about this but have receive no reply!:

Thanks for any help and advice you can offer!! /img/vbsmilies/smilies/smile.gif

Koga recommends the Hesling Agudo for use with the Alfine. Whether they make some modifications to the standard chain-case, I´m unable to say. I am very happy with the Hebie Chainglider for my Rohloff.

Go down to "Chain case/guard" on this page:

Talk to SJS Cycles about whether or not the Hebie Chainglider will go with the Alfine - and which version (there are more than one Chainglider version). They should know it.

I've just sent SJS an email so I'll see what they say.

The Hesling Agudo definitely looks interesting, but where can you purchase it from? I'm in the UK and a quick search didn't reveal any distributers for it.
