On my 3 day old Raleigh C40 with Shimano C203 Crank, I ran into a problem today. While shifting up, my chain jumped the 3rd gear and got caught between the 3rd gear and the guard. I had to pull really hard in the chain to release it. Almost thought I wouldn't get it out of there.
Seems like the gap to the guard should either be small enough so the chain won't go down into the space or large enough so it can easily be released.
Has anyone run into this, is there any easy fix to it? Thanks.
