The weather is finally going to warmup this weekend, so I've been working on getting the bike tuned up. The housing for my rear brake cable is a little crushed, and the action is now a bit sticky. Changing housings and cables is one of those little things I want to learn so I don't have to deal with LBS. Anyways, I haven't been able to find clear instructions on how to get the housing and cable detached from a dura-ace shifter so I can take the old housing off and slide on a new one. Anyone know how to do this?

You need to disconnect the cable from the rear derailliur and then just pull the cable from the housing. Don't do this though unless you know how to connect and tweak you rear derailleur.
You should just need an Allen key and your new housing though, and if you want to make the job a little easier get a cable puller. If you don't know how to tweak your deraillieur though leave it up to your LBS and refuse to pay an excessive amount as its not that big a job.🙂

I'm not trying to change the housing for the cable to the rear derailleur, but rather the housing to the rear brake. But I see what you mean and I'm not sure why i didn't think of that before :p... -
Just unwrap the handlebar tape. Actually, that might be the hardest part of the whole job. They'll probably be some electrical tape holding the brake cable housing to the handlebar. Once you do that it's pretty much just pulling off the old cable housing and replacing it with new.
If you pull the brake lever about 1/2 way down you should be able to push out the old brake cable from the back. Before you push it out all the way it might be a good idea to look inside the lever with a flashlight so you can see where it goes.
