Hi everyone,

I have been using a Vistalite NiCad Nightstick over the past few years. Now I am about to purchase a NiMH version. Is it OK to charge the new NiMH battery with the old charger that came with the NiCad one? Or do I need to have a specific output for the charger? My NiCad charger qoutes 7.2VDC @300mA. I'd assume that 7.2VDC should be the same for NiMH, too. So, most likely 300mA is going to take longer to recharge the new battery. Right?

Cheers,
Amir.

as long as the voltage is the same it will be ok. 300mah is a slow charge.
