Speedy recumbent - Frame number 292

The original, iconic Speedy with Kevlar seat and yellow
castings on a mix of aluminium and titanium tubing. Gear
system Shimano bar-end shifters on Speedy titanium joy stick
    pods Sugino FUSE 500, 170mm chainset with 46, 36, 24 rings
Shimano XTR front mech Shimano XT SPD pedals Lots of
chain... Shimano XT rear mech Wheels Front wheels have 17in
Moulton rims with Mouton/Wolber tyres - these are the
original and not more than half worn! Drum brakes are by
Sturmey Archer Rear rim is a Campagnolo 26in with a
Continental Grand Prix tyre - again the original with plenty
of miles left. General condition is extremely good despite
not been valeted. This machine has been owned by two mature
enthusiasts who have many other bikes, hence the low
mileage. New price is well into the £2000s. We are selling
this beauty for just £1200. UK carriage will be £25 -
elsewhere to be quoted, including the USA (which also
benefits from VAT redemption - less 17.5% on all goods)

Oops, sorry, I guess I should have mentioned this when I
read about it in the BHPC e-newsletter a couple of
    months ago.

I saw it hanging on the wall last time I was in the shop.
It's very, very pretty and I was very tempted, but I can't
really afford it and I haven't got anywhere to keep it.
