    Hi guys,

I'm Andy, promotor of the Cheshire Classic Women's Road Race. The race takes place in April each year organised ourselves by Weaver Valley Cycling Club and is part of British Cycling's National Series. It's the opening fixture of the calendar and previous winners include Lizzie Armitstead, Nicole Cooke, Lucy Garner and 2012 saw Paralympian Sarah Storey take the honours.

We've just launched our new website www.cheshireclassic.co.uk and now have a presence on Twitter (@cheshireclassic) and Facebook.

The website also includes interviews with some of the professional riders alongside club members. We're hoping to develop a community for both the race and Women's cycling so really just a heads up and I hope you'll get involved.

    Thanks
    Andy
