Missi Roti is Indian flat bread made with Chick pea flour (besan). But
I'm sure there are others.

There is also a french or provencal recipe for a flatbread. I forget
the name, but think it begins with a p. Perhaps it was a variation on
Pissaladiere. Either way, try google for more ideas

You're probably thinking of panissa, which is Ligurian. As well,
there's farinata (also Ligurian) and socca (from Nice). All variations
on a theme, really.
