There may need to be a crackdown in other countries also.

Don't be fooled by the execution of a single person in a communist
nation. Nothing is done in China without the approval of the
Politburo. This is called "appeasing foolish westerners". Chinese
food products are largely manufactured with slave labor and are not
safe.

If we put people to death for taking bribes and accepting money and
"political donations", (nudge nudge wink wink), for political favours,
the white house, congess and the senate would be empty. Not to mention
the state houses and senates. Then the city councils and mayors.
Judges, police chiefs that are elected. etc etc etc.

Like the old joke goes, that may be a good start.
