The Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBR) is holding their 5th annual Poker Ride on Sunday, November 3rd. This is our end-of-year bash to ride and enjoy some good food, good music and good beer. There will be group rides for different skill levels over some of the best singletrack in Chicagoland.<br /><br />A Poker Ride is where riders will get a playing card at selected points along the ride. At the end, all riders will get to pick a prize from a huge table of swag, going in order from best hand to worst. Everyone gets at least one prize!<br /><br />Come out and join us for our last big hurrah of the year. The event will be held from 10 am to dusk at Pulaski Woods East in the Palos Forest Preserve, Willow Springs, Illinois (about 20 minutes southwest of Chicago). Everyone is welcome, just bring a grab bag gift (around $10 value) and a donation towards event costs.<br /><br />CAMBR is a non-profit, volunteer mountain biking advocacy group. Our mission is to promote responsible trail use, to prevent trail closings, and to maintain unpaved trails for bicycling in the Chicago area.
