Cinelli 26.0mm in 26.4mm?

I have a older style 26.4mm Cinelli 1A stem, with a 26.4mm Eubios
handlebar currently in there. Are there 0.2mm shims or sheet stock
that allow a 26.0mm handlebar to be used in a 26.4mm stem?

I know about the coke can trick but I'd like to try that only as a very
last resort. Nitto has a shim set that allows 25.4 handlebars to be
used in 26.0 stems. I suppose I can adapt this for use for 25.8
handlebar in 26.4 stem?

Why? The soda/beer can thing works just fine. If you take the time to
trim the material, it's invisible, too. I have a 26.0 Cinelli bar in a
26.4 stem with a beer can shim; have ridden thousands of miles on that
bike w/o a problem.

Two layers of Pepsi can, all the way around the bar, fits nearly
perfectly (the can's sides are very close to 0.1 mm thick). The can
material is very easy to work precisely (use scissors but be careful of
sharp edges). I expect the only difference with a "factory" shim is
that you have the satisfaction of paying for it.

I've been using this for years on a Cinelli 1A (26.4) / Cinelli Nerve
(26.0) combination for years.

Look for the recent thread where I gave more details.
