Cinelli Spinaci's - any experience of these or other "short" aerobars?

I have a Giant TCR and am looking at getting a shorter aerobar for non-drafting triathlon use. I am
finding my Profile Century bars leave me too stretched out (I am 6ft 4) even though the bike is a
great fit. The Profiles end up about 3 inches forward of the brake hoods and I end up uncomfortable
with a tight back and don't spend all the cycle leg on the aerobars. On a trainer I also find that
my heart rate goes up on the aerobars when holding the same cadence so I am assuming that I am also
losing power on these as well. Finances do not allow fancy seatposts or Syntace bars!

Are the Spinaci's any good over longer rides? Anyone used them for 25km or longer events? I
understand there is little padding on the bars unless you use Cinelli wraparound pads, or knock up
better pads from tape. I am more interested in comfort in the aero position and whether this is
still relatively effective.

Thanks.
