I didn't think that even Pantani could be this stupid. Maybe he has realised that he would just

Stupid move from the pirate, or perhaps not under his circumstances. If his most valuable asset is
his name and image (instead of his results on the road) then he should be very careful with
copyrights etc.

Italian tifosi can be very loyal; they will always be interested in buying stuff that's connected to
'Il Pirata'. Therefore, he is commercially interesting no matter how badly he actually rides.
