    He is retiring. Admits to not being competitive any longer. :(

    In any event, a sad day. We knew it was coming, but cycling needs people like him to attract media attention. And in his heyday, no matter what any naysayers say, he was THE ABSOLUTE DEFINITION OF 'THE' SPRINTER.

    I still remember the stunts like wearing the muscle skinsuit at the TdF. Made me want to get one, it looked so cool and so rebellious. He was certainly one of the more charismatic riders in the Peloton in addition to his sprint.
