  1. I am hoping someone can help with my dilemma.

I have not been able to get my cleat positioning right since I changed over
to SPD-R a few months ago and I need a second opinion. I have read and
tried everything under the sun about cleat positioning but just don't seem
to be able to get it right. I used to use Time cleats and pedals (the older
style) which had heaps of float and I was quite comfortable in these. I
changed over to SPD-R when I bought a new bike. The old shoes and cleats
were knackered and SPD-R were a cheaper proposition than Time.
Perhaps I need more float and should go back to Time (the new style), but
was trying to avoid the extra cost this would involve. I am assuming that I
would need to change both shoes and pedals to go back to Time.
I think my problem is due to having slightly bowed legs, with the right
bowed more than the left. I have managed to get the right cleat in a
comfortable position, but try as I may, I just cannot get the left cleat
    positioned comfortably.
Has anyone else had similar experiences and \or have any suggestions to fix
    it?

Alternatively, can anybody recommend someone in Perth who provides a
    professional bike positioning service?
