Anyone out there willing to share what their team/club does to obtain sponosors? Currently we are
getting ready for when our current sponsor contracts end and I am gathering info about the ways that
other clubs/teams handle getting their sponsors.
Do you use a sponsorship packet that is given to prospective sponsors or do you use good ol' buddy
contacts and relationships? Would your club/team be willing to share your sponsorship packet if you
do have one? Do you find that sponsors are more interested in local exposure or exposure at regional
races? Is your club or team a non-profit organization and did or didn't it help with obtaining
sponsors (relative to tax incentives?) Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated.
