I was just told by the local phamacist that colestipol, a bile acid sequesterant is on backorder. It is useful for LDL reduction and has been associated with CIMT reduction with niacin.
This happened recently with lovastatin 40 mg tabs and was a pain to deal with because some patients went without their meds, or had to go to another phamacy.
The phamacist has 2 "huge" warehouses from which they can order, and both are out.

Any comments? The stuff is dirt cheap!
Dirt cheap, and tastes much like dirt; I'm sure it is just a co-incidence though...
Barring any problems you have omitted to mention, a switch to Questran should be straight forward.
