Hi,

I recommend strongly that you ask the reseller if the price includes
fork, and if so which one. If no fork, find out what options they have
in stock, at what price.

There have been many Colnagos advertised on European bike shop web
sites; some prices have included steel fork, or carbon fork with Al
steerer, or carbon fork with carbon steerer, or no fork at all. The
latter should of course be the cheapest ;-)

BTW what shop are you referring to? Good price, even if without fork.

Sorry, forgot to answer part I of your mail. Here's the closest I come:
I ride an inferior model to the Dream Plus, known as the Colnago Chic,
an entry-level Al frame with steel fork, made in 2002, bought new from a
reseller in 2003. Now upgraded all running gear on it to Campag Record.
I am completely satisfied with the build quality, painting, stiffness
vs. comfort (this one is quite stiff though), and handling qualities
(very stable, not twitchy, best touring frame I've ever owned ;-)

It doesn't. It costs 695 Euro's without fork and the frame is all white with
black letters, which I can't find in any color scheme.

I happen to know my LBS has a carbon Colnago fork with steel/alu steerer for
little money.

Salden in The Netherlands.

I like the frame geometry. It's a 61 cm, which comes very close to the
custom frame Merckx made for me.

The Dream plus is a great bicycle. The one I had came with a FORCE fork.
That is an upgrade over the normal fork which I believe is called a Flash.
Both forks are carbon although the Flash is 70 grams heavier.
