"Anyone can have a go in the hill climb at Stoke Holy Cross, just south of
Norwich, on Sunday (October 24). Joint promoters Godric CC, EACC and NABC have
obtained Come-and-Try-It status for the event, so club membership is not
required. Entries are one pound. First rider is off at 11am. The course is the
eight-tenths of a mile climb of Long Lane towards Poringland, the longest climb
listed in the EDCA handbook. Tea and cakes in the hall afterwards. Details from
Keith Harrison 01603 405381."

The above is from the EDP today, in case anyone is interested. Please pass the
information along to *anyone* you think may be encouraged to have a go, as it
is a "come-and-try-it" event, so only £1 to enter.

Cheers all, helen s
