Competition — The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Pepsi/Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run competition May 6 at Tulare Western High School. Times are as follows: 9-10 a.m. for 7-8 year-olds, 10-11 a.m. for 9-10 year-olds, 11 a.m. to noon for 11-12 year-olds, and noon to 1 p.m. for 13-14 year-olds. There is no charge to compete. Winners advance to a sectional competition.
