I have been riding Conti 4 Season tires (700 x 23) for about 1800 miles. Tires, especially rear, are starting to look worn although other than some small nicks on the sidewall I've had no problems.. I do about 120+ miles per week (ride, not race) and am planning a century this Sunday, another late August, and a 5 day 300 mile ride in Oct.

Any suggestions on when to replace them and with what?

When? I generally replace when I can see threads from the casings. But I am cheap and ride stuff into the ground.

What? Depends on what you want. Conti 4 Seasons would be a good choice to stick with.

Conti GP 4000s in the appropriate colour, give the bike a make over for the big day.
