Hello

Anyone got a good idea on how to convert Super Cycle Shuttle for use with Mt. bikes
Thanks
Michael

I'm guessing here that the shuttle thingy is a bike carrier, on which you hang bikes by the top tube.
And that your issue is that you have full-suspension MTBs, whose funky frame geometries aren't compatible with such a carrier?

Well, I've seen a gadget called something like "top tube adapter" or maybe "cross tube" or "cross brace".
Anyhow, it was a bar that clipped on between steerer tube and seat post, creating a top tube that could be hung on a bike carrier.

A regular, diamond frame (HT ) MTB will do just fine on a bike carrier.

Hi dabac

you guessed correctly on all fronts, i will look into what you have suggusted

Thanks you

Looks like a possiable solution

The Super Cycle Shuttle was original made by Rhode Gear which is no longer in business does anyone know if they were brought out by other company?

Rhode Gear is long gone. It was aquired by one outfit, then another outfit bought THAT one. Bell bought them and Yakima bought Bell's rack division.

You could try contacting Yakima for spare parts.
