Ok, I is full of shite:p . Completely lied totally about not using Vanilla Ice lyrics to sell new threads. Worked a treat last time I asked for reviews on teh speedplays (went and bought em).

Anyone ride on ZIPP 404's - clinchers fulltime? ZIPP are pushing them as a racing and training option ie, a full time wheel. I dont need to to know how they perform in a race, or in cross wind etc - just need to know how well they stand up to a bit of a beating in term so fuse as a training wheel.

Help please?

Hiya, I used to. No doubt they'll stand the punishment (even thought mine
were previous model with rear hub that always needed oiling). I don't know
how long the brake surface will last for though - mine was a bit
'irregular'. The reason I stopped was when I started thinking about all the
wheels I've destroyed over the years, and how much it would cost to replace
just one of the buggers.

Don't waste your money on clinchers, just bite the bullet and get Zipp 404
singles (much lighter, much faster, same money!). And use for racing and
showponying at cafes only.

Well, that's what I did anyway.
