  1. Hi,

A couple of weeks ago there was an invitational freetrials comp in
vancouver (ie a biketrials comp held with unitrials rules). It went
really well- the bike riders really love the format and this is 3rd
event we've held now with this format.

Here's a link to one low-to-the-ground but particularly cool section:
    http://tinyurl.com/64klh

It was simple to build but fun and hard, and nice to have in a bike
event because none of the pro/expert bike riders actually managed to
    clean it!

The start was at the opposite end- the finish was to get onto the wide
ladderbridge. 4x4's fixed on edge are easier to build with than round
poles and the 1/8" edge is awesome for balance lines.

If anybody has any good photos of particularly creative trials sections,
let me know and I'll add them to the www.krisholm.com/sections page

  2. That does look like a pretty cool section to ride. I would love to try
to ride something like that. Thoes were some cool pictures of what
looked like a cool competition. Thoes 4x4's looked like they were on
edge (with one of the edges pointing up with a slope on each side) thoes
look really hard to ride i need to try one sometime.
