  1. HIGH blood pressure / Prostatitis: Correlation?

    Help, please.

I checked into a hosp. ER 7 days ago with mod. to severe pains in the lower abdomen. (akin to k
stones, which I exp. 30 years earlier)

The nurse thought the bp mach. was broken, checked it again and hurriedly went to a manual. It
    was 255/165.

They wanted to keep me ... but after getting it down to a much lower rate, I left / against the
doctor's advice, who wanted to admit me.

After some stress rel. techniques and a cpl of days of meds, it came down to about 150/95 (or so).

After the BP came down, I began to have the prostate pain. (Yes, a poss. that my diag. of
Prostatitis was/is wrong. However, as stated, I HAVE exp. the pain.)

Here is the point or question:

When one begins to exp. prost. infection (or any other inf. for that matter / or 'problem', i.e.
headaches, et al) does ones BP elevate in order to increase the supply of the body's natural
    healing agents.

AND... is it a poss. that the greater the 'problem'/ the greater or higher the elevation of the BP?

More questions, but let's start with this... please.

    Best regards.

    WL
